I have been playing and collecting trading cards for 25 years. For a long stretch of that I was deep in the competitive Magic scene, living at events and taking the game about as seriously as a person can.
As I got older, something changed. The part of the hobby that pulled hardest at me was not only playing anymore. It was the business of it. How cards move and get priced, and how a genuinely good vendor makes buying and selling feel easy and fair. That turned out to be the most interesting and fulfilling challenge I had found in twenty-five years around cards, so in 2024 I built Fable & Table Games to take it on properly.
The whole thing runs on a single belief. The relationship between a vendor and a collector can be far better than what the hobby has settled for, and the bare minimum is not good enough. That means clean scans, honest grading, quick tracked shipping, and a real person on the other end of every order. No exceptions.
